Today I got the morning off which was nice because I got to sleep in until 10am.
Then we drove down to the ‘Watershed Studios’ at midday to listen to Charles who was playing the guitar session for my new song ‘Lightning Bugs’.
After that we drove back to the EMI studios to work on more of the mix and instrumental for ‘Lightning Bugs’ we did the Organ first which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL i love the organ.
Then unexpectedly Charles walks into the studio and say’s I’ve got something for you come take a look….yes you guessed it they brought me am amazing new acoustic GUITAR of which I have named “Charles the 2nd”!
Thank you so much Stokes, Jason, Charles, Eric & Jimmy (The Lost Trailers) for the thought & my awesome new guitar.
You guys ROCK!

Today Stokes and I wrote a song called “I’ll never walk
away from you”.
This song was written from my experiences from a trip
that I took in January this year with my parents & grandparents to the orphanages
of Thailand & Cambodia. Here are my thoughts & lyrics for a sneak peek;

Today is MOTHERS DAY!
REST DAY!
Dad & I took Mom to at the Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Greenhills for Lunch.
After lunch we went to ‘Whole Foods” amazing organic groceries (Mom’s Favourite place to hang out). This store is as big as Coles/Woolworths in Australia.
That night we went for a walk through the park & saw ‘lightning bugs’ outside our apartment they are amazing how they light up "MAGICAL".
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOTHERS OUT THERE and to Mom thanks for all your wonderful support, hair make-up, great food & laughs… I love you so sooo much.

This morning we woke again very early to drive to Fayetteville, Tennessee to perform at the Lincoln County Music Festival (Cowboy Troy, Charlie Daniels, The Lost Trailers) when we arrived I got to do three run through performances on the main arena stage.
After that I got to meet Mackenzie the Captain for the Cheerleaders who ran through with me choreography for my music film clip 'Sing' and yes they got me a cheerleading outfit to ware so cool! of which I got to be a CHEERLEADER for a few hours. We danced and performed in the Lincoln County old yellow school buses whilst outside the other cheerleaders did heaps of amazingly cool flips.
After we sat down for some lunch I also got to try homemade brownies which were DELICIOUS I had 10 brownies 'YUM'.
After lunch we had a radio interview at Lincoln County radio station where I meet 'Big Joe Young'... who played my new song 'SING' for the first time on radio in the USA he loved it so much he advised all the listeners out there that 'if you did not hear it the first time here it is again' and played if twice in a row! Amazing I was so so excited.
Unfortunately it rained very heavily that evening and was too dangerous to perform and the Festival had to be called off and so I did not get to perform.
We packed up and went home it was still a heaps fun day.
I would personally like thank everyone at the Lincoln County Music Festival for inviting me to sing and thank you to the Lincoln County High School and the Lincoln County High School Cheerleaders, The Sheriff for allowing me to ride up front with him, Coach John & Festival organisers for an amazing day.

Today I woke up very early and we drove 3hrs to the most beautiful place out in the Tennessee country side to film part of my song “Sing”. We were filming in this magical field there was not a cloud in the sky and a light breeze and even during one of the ‘takes’ a beautiful butterfly flew into shot…it was amazing.
It looked amazing on the playback screen and there was so much excitement can’t wait to see the end result.
After that we drove all the way to ‘Alabama’ to meet with AJ at ‘Clear Channel Radio Stations’ for a radio interview he is awesomely cool & friendly & he signed my tour bear.
Then we travelled to meet with the ‘ABC Network Alabama’ for an on-air TV interview and performance I was super nervous and exited at the same time.
After that we went to see the most coolest thing ever after I got to see the Alabama Space museum all though I didn't go inside I saw the massive space shuttle out front I loved it! I love astrology.
Then we drove home after 16hrs on the road for a goodnight sleep.

Today we filmed half of my EPK (Electronic Press Kit) at the EMI Studios, Nashville
After we got straight into recording 2 of my new songs “Lightning Bugs” and “Holiday”
We recorded “Holiday” first which was so much fun. Its a real upbeat fast pace song…love it!
Then we recorded my all-time favourite “Lightning Bugs” this song is timeless filled with such emotion.
For Lightning Bugs we actually blacked out the whole studio turning out all off all the lights in order for me to focus on the meaning of the lyrics of the song...truely an amazing experience and outcome. You will have to wait to hear! J
We then left the EMI Studio and drove to the “Watershed Studio” to film the rehearsal of “Sing” with my band.
It was heaps and heaps of loud noise and loads of fun.
I loved rock’n it out with a band it was my first time playing with a live band…words can’t describe how amazing it feels to play with a live band
I went home after 14hrs of recording, filming & rehearsing totallly exhausted, very tired and went upstairs to my bed and crashed.

Today I am delighted and equally excited that everything that I have been working so hard for over the past 5 months is now a reality and here. I am currently in Nashville, TN (USA).
I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be recording my debut song "SING" written by Chris Destefano, Hannah Blaylock & Catt Gravatt at the EMI Music Publishing studios in Nashville, TN the home of Country Music. All amazing song writers of which Chris has just recently finished writing Carrie Underwood's & Kelly Clarkson's latest smash hits.. so in amazing hands.
Personally I just want to thank all the wonderful people around me from my wonderful school teacher Miss Trethewey, Friends & Family, Singing Coach Sharon, Performance Coach Abbe, Acting Coach Penny, American Accent Coach Chris, Acting Manager/s Mark & Clinton, Manager/Producer Stokes (amazing) BAM! and finally my wonderful supportive parents who without them this all could not be possible...
Now it up to me...so got to go rock it out. Miss y'all!
